Le Petit Chef - Guelph

Amazing experience! Both extremely entertaining and amazing food. The service was top notch! It was so interesting to be in a dining room with every table getting their meals at the same time, making the atmosphere feel so light and friendly, like we were all enjoying a meal together. The projection of the chef himself was perfect, funny and cute, an amazing concept from the creators. I would highly recommend this place for a special event, and prepare before hand, there is a lot of food so it is quite filling!! Thank you to the waitress who treated us with such kindness and brought out our dessert with a candle for our anniversary!

I just wish the servers checked in on us more. Many times I was waiting to order a drink or get another glass of water and had to wait a while. Otherwise really great experience and I’m glad I was able to attend

Exceptional experience with the audio and video being fun and creative. The food was delicious and I don't know what it was but having every table served at the same time made the experience feel special from a normal dinner meal. Seafood bisque and the creme brulee were the absolute standout. Keep up the good work

Food was first class and the service was so warm and attentive. Atmosphere was inviting with the comical presentation on the plates. A bit pricey but worth the dollar for a special occasion.

One-of-a-kind experience! Kids would love this, but kids at heart will also be amazed by this. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting anything as I thought it will just be for a show, but the food was surprisingly good as well.

We celebrated our son's 6th birthday here. While an expensive experience, it's perfect for a special occasion. Our waitress was very kind and helpful with our son and we quickly realized that the food was both very good AND a lot. She immediately suggested takeout containers which was excellent service. The show is fun, cute and unique. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! The classic menu - the caprese salad was too heavily dressed for my taste and the seafood soup was salty, but everything else was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. This is a fantastic experience, we'll executed, that our family heartily recommends!

4 Stars – Unique Experience with a Few Drawbacks Le Petit Chef is an incredible interactive digital dining experience — really fun and creative! The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was immersive and added to the overall magic of the evening. However, there were a couple of things that took away from the experience. Small children under 6 were seated in the main dining room with adults, which made it difficult for many couples to fully enjoy the evening. While kids will be kids, the noise and constant distractions from parents trying to manage them affected the ambiance. For the price point, it would have been better to have families seated separately to maintain the upscale, relaxed vibe. Also, the added gratuity at the end felt forced. While we always tip for great service, it would’ve been nice to have the option rather than a mandatory charge. Overall, we had a great time and would return for the food and experience, but we do hope the restaurant considers making adjustments for families and gratuity policies in the future.
